Russell Abrams is President of Titan Capital Group and also serves as Senior Portfolio Manager. He founded Titan Capital Group, one of the first pure volatility funds, in early 2001. He is responsible for the firm’s management and investment decision-making. Mr. Abrams has extensive experience managing options portfolios, as well as trading volatility seeking non-correlated returns with liquid, short-dated portfolios. Prior to forming Titan, Mr. Abrams was co-head of U.S. Equity Derivative Trading and Convertible Arbitrage at Merrill Lynch. He also held positions with Bank Paribas and CS First Boston and worked with Fischer Black researching derivative strategies at Goldman Sachs. He graduated from Boston University with a degree in Computer Science and received an MBA in Finance from New York University Stern School of Business.
