Mental health and psychiatrist. PrairieCare has been providing specialized psychiatric services for all ages in the Twin Cities since 2005. Initially providing care as the Twin Cities extension of Prairie St. John’s in Fargo, PrairieCare and PrairieCare Medical Group were founded in 2009 by Stephen R. Setterberg, MD. The organization grew from a dozen employees providing outpatient care to a few hundred patients a year, to now one of the region’s largest and premier psychiatric providers.
