Currently, he is available to patients 5 days per week in his northern Virginia based family practice. His life-long belief in the restorative powers of nutrition and exercise, in concert with his advanced medical training, led to the foundation of Nu-Living Optimal Wellness & Longevity Center. Board-certified by the American Board of Bariatric Physicians, Dr. Terlinsky has extensive training and experience in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of obesity, overweight and weight-related health problems. He is also one among only 15 physicians in Virginia certified by the American Society of Hypertension as a Specialist in Clinical Hypertension. Since hypertension is so often linked to renal (kidney) disease he also sought out to be a nephrologist. Dr. Terlinsky’s specialization in Nephrology and Clinical Hypertension uniquely qualifies him for the care of patients with acute renal problems including transplant and dialysis, as well as a wide range of diseases or conditions that affect or involve kidney function.
