The L-3 Portable Water Purification Systems use reverse osmosis filtration, among others and is capable of producing 350 to 1000+ gallons per day of purified drinking water. This system uses UV lights, sediment filters, and carbon filters in addition to the RO filters. It can purify any fresh water source and some brackish water sources. The L-3 WPS is designed to flush every 30 minutes to help extend the life of the filters and reduce maintenance.
