About Formatec Learning Center

Established January 2005

Formatec was founded by Jose Barreto and his son Rafael in Venezuela in 1978 where more than 5,000 students improved their grades. Rafael Barreto earned various degrees at several Universities starting with a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science at the Missouri University UMR. He earned another Master’s Degree in Nuclear Physics at the University of Kansas. Throughout his teaching career he was a passionate and well-liked Teacher and Professor at several Colleges, Universities and public schools.
