Dr. Philip Kimsey is a board-certified family physician who lives and practices in the beautiful foothills of northeast Georgia. He and his wife Debbie are the proud parents of three adult daughters. Dr. Kimsey has a vast array of prior experience in patient care, physician leadership, and medical education. He served in the role of a traditional family physician for over 25 years before opening his functional medicine practice. He has additional experience in wound care and caring for the medically needy. As a physician leader, Dr. Kimsey has held various leadership roles within a 400+ clinical provider organization. Educating others and especially his patients has long been a passion for Dr. Kimsey. Patient education is the cornerstone of an effective doctor-patient relationship, and it helps patients move from unwellness into health!
