Welcome to the Fairplay-Valiton Hotel in Fairplay, Colorado. We are located up in the high Rockies, and provide non stop mountain views in a quiet and relaxing setting. Our hotel is located in a historic building, nearby South Park City, and shops. We have a 1920s Brunswick bar in our saloon, seasonal restaurant. The original building was built in 1873 and had a kitchen fire in 1921. At that point. the building was rebuilt and reopened in 1923 with running water and electricity. It had shared hallway bathrooms up until the 1990s when the owner added private bathroms to each room. It still retains the old charm and has a cozy, quaint feel about it. Guests love the squeeky floors in the dining room and saloon. For guests staying at the Fairplay-Valiton Hotel there are plenty of activities to keep you busy including nearby skiing, fishing, hunting, hiking, mountain climbing, and plenty of photo friendly backdrops.
