About Connecticut Hospice

Established January 1974

Established in 1974, Connecticut Hospice is America’s first hospice. We are the only hospice care provider in Connecticut with a dedicated inpatient hospital. Our team of hospice and palliative board-certified physicians, nurses, and pharmacists provide an extensive array of pain management, symptom management, and comfort-oriented measures. To meet the unique needs of each patient and family unit, we provide customized plans of care that address physical, emotional, social, and spiritual support. Our flexible care options enable patients to seamlessly move back and forth between our hospice and palliative home-care-services and our hospice and palliative inpatient-services at our beautiful waterfront hospital in Branford, Connecticut.
