When I first started as a Beachbody fitness coach back in 2007, there was literally no Beachbody coach training. The business opportunity was so new that we had to create the training as we went along. I liken my experience as a Beachbody fitness coach in the early years as walking in a darkened room, grasping at objects to guide my way. And despite the lack of Beachbody coach training, despite my lack of experience, I somehow managed to be the 18th person admitted into the Millionaire’s Club. Why do I point this out? It’s truly not to brag, but rather, to encourage you wherever you are on your journey. If I was able to do it, so can you! Do you know what the key to success as a Beachbody fitness coach is? It’s taking 100% responsibility for where you are. At this moment in time, we have all the beachbody coach training you need to succeed, with new tools being added every single month if not every week. You have hundreds, even thousands of examples of people who have paved the way for you, who are experiencing success as a coach. It’s truly a myth that you have to have gotten in early to be successful as a Beachbody fitness coach. In fact, I know coaches who got to where I am in half the time. Without taking an ounce of the credit away from these hard working individuals, I do know that they benefited from the tools and even mistakes that many of us made in the early days. The same is true for you! Stand on the shoulder of giants! Benefit from our trials and errors. But back to my point, if you want to make it as a coach, you must stop blaming others for your lack of success. This business is not easy. It’s simple, but it’s not easy. The Beachbody coach training is there, in place, but it’s up to you to apply it, day in and day out. This business consists of talking to new people every day, getting to know them, inviting them to join you on your journey to physical and financial success. And guess what? Not everyone is going to be ready to jump on board. Many new coaches take this as rejection, when really, it has nothing to do with them at all! What determines your success is your willingness to accept responsibility for yourself, for your business. Period. Success: it’s up to you!
