Lube-- Pick up some water-based lube (but ensure it's glycerin and paraben-free) at your local pharmacy or supermarket. Silicone based lubes last longer but may consist of glycerin, which can result in irritation, swelling and yeast infections. Petroleum jelly, infant oil, or mineral oil can also cause irritation or swelling. Aloe vera jelly or coconut oil can be used safely. Some brands that are glycerin-free are Swiss Navy All Natural, Astroglide Free, Good tidy love, Pre-seed, and Wet Natural Beautifully bare. Apply the lube to your vulva, to the idea of the penis, and to the introitus, or entryway of the vaginal area, right before you have intercourse.
