Jane resides in New York City. Her art has been exhibited in New York and Los Angeles, published on book covers and in magazines, and collected since her early 20s. While Jane was a Columbia University undergraduate, she was the only undergraduate artist invited to paint and draw the figure at the graduate level in Columbia's Master of Fine Arts Program. Jane had her first professional show in New York City when she was 20-years old, before graduating from Columbia. In her 20s, Jane was a Selected Artist in the Whitney Museum of American Art ISP — Jane was selected for The Whitney Program without an interview — a rarity. Jane received her MFA at California Institute of the Arts, where she was awarded three graduate teaching positions, in Painting, Drawing, and Color Theory. In the late '90s Jane taught "Media Communications" at the School of Visual Arts.
