The new 25,000-square-foot facility has a 20-bay service shop, full parts department, and a commercial truck wash with a closed loop system for recycling used water. Recognizing the importance of the trucking industry to the U.S. economy, the company creates opportunities for American truckers to get behind the wheel of their own big rigs. The firm sells used semitrailers to owner/operators through an innovative No Credit Check program called the Golden Rental Program. In addition to supporting truckers who have experienced financial difficulties, American Truck Group works to create the next generation of Class 8 technicians and service professionals. Working in tandem with Harrison Central High School, the company founded an apprenticeship program to provide training for students interested in careers in the transportation industry.
