After working for the Original Company for three years, the principal owner, Mike Macherone, Sr., purchased it and changed the name to A1 Service Plumbing, Inc. in 1977. The name was picked to emphasize the level of plumbing services he wanted to provide. Throughout the years, the principles of building a quality company remain in place, “Good Service, A Quality Product, and Stand Behind Your Work.”
