As the Episcopal branch of the Christian faith, we believe in extending the love of God to all. In fact, that’s what we’re trying to become: the shape God’s love takes in the world.

Worship With Us
At St. Mark’s we offer a variety of worship services, groups and classes for people of all ages, both on Sunday mornings and throughout the week. See below for a detailed schedule of offerings. All are welcome, come as you are!
Sunday

This is our principal weekly worship service (also known as Holy Communion or Mass). The service is livestreamed to YouTube for those unable to attend.
Nursery care is available for children ages 1-5 during this service.
MONDAY

Our parish community practices parishioner-led morning prayer on Zoom every weekday morning. This is an opportunity to familiarize yourself with the Daily Offices from the Book of Common Prayer and step into an ancient spiritual practice of being shaped through prayer to God. Morning prayer begins at 8:00 AM and lasts for approximately 20 minutes. Beginners welcome! No need to be an expert in the Daily Office or Book of Common Prayer - we’ll help you along.

Contemplation is a receptive method of Christian silent prayer which deepens our relationship with God, the Indwelling Presence … a prayer in which we can experience God’s presence within us, closer than breathing, closer than thinking, closer than consciousness itself.

Join Canon Judy Atherton and Father Tyler Doherty on Zoom for a fun hour of discussion and theological reflection using short fiction as our launching pad. We’ll discuss a piece of fiction each week and reflect theologically on how the story can illuminate aspects of our relationship with God, ourselves, each other, and creation.

Our calendar is a great ways to keep up-to-date on everything happening at St. Marks. In addition to all the ongoing weekly classes and services, our calendar includes other one-time events like feast days and holidays, retreats, concerts, forums and more! If an ongoing weekly event is cancelled for any reason this will also be reflected in the calendar.

The Cathedral Church of St. Mark generates its own clean, renewable power thanks to a funding award from Rocky Mountain Power’s Blue Sky program participants and the estate of Meredith Simmons. This money supported the installation of a solar energy generation plant with three rooftop panel arrays at the Cathedral. The plant began generating power in early March of 2021.
