The 2024 AIA Indiana Convention presented by Glen-Gery / Brickworks Supply Center is scheduled for Friday, August 16, at 16 Tech in Indianapolis. AIA Indiana has a long tradition of honoring architects and community members and leaders for the impact they have made on the architecture profession and design in their communities through its annual AIA Service Awards. AIA Indiana invites its members to submit nominations for the following awards: Edward D. Pierre Award; Juliet Peddle Award; Walter S. Blackburn Award; Distinguished Firm Award; Tony Costello Young Architect Award; Next Gen Award; Gold Medal Award. CLICK HERE to learn more. 

All AIA Indiana member architects in good standing who have led the design of completed projects inside or outside of Indiana are invited to compete for Honor, Merit, and Citation Design Awards. Also, AIA member architects outside of Indiana in good standing and who are responsible for the lead role in designing projects located in Indiana are invited to compete. If a project had both a design architect and an architect-of-record, submissions must include the names of both.  The awards will be presented during the AIA Indiana Convention on Friday, August 16 at the 16 Tech Innovation District, in downtown Indianapolis, IN. AIA Indiana announces the application window for year six of the Christopher Kelley Leadership Development Program (CKLDP) is open. CLICK HERE for full details on the program and to access the application. This program is open to young designers and allied professionals. Scholars accepted into the program will be notified in early August and the program will kick off with a Bootcamp style session on August 23. Regular sessions will run from October 2024 through May of 2025. Sessions are generally scheduled for the first Friday of each month. The application submission deadline is July 15!

Applications 101 – AIA Indiana’s CKLDP Information Sessions – As AIA Indiana gears up for the sixth year of the CKLDP, we’re excited to offer Applications 101 – AIA Indiana’s CKLDP Information Sessions. These sessions are designed to benefit prospective participants (scholars), firm leaders, and anyone curious about the program and its application process. Held via Zoom, the sessions are scheduled for 12 p.m. on June 12, 19, and 26. Led by the AIA Indiana CKLDP Executive Committee, comprised of past scholars, these sessions offer a platform for individuals to ask questions and gain insights on crafting their program applications.
