We are presently on the lookout for a dynamic professional as a Field Service Engineer (Remote) in the Mid-Atlantic Region (Southern NJ, PA, and Eastern Ohio). As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical and service support across all our product lines. During on-site visits you will help maintain client loyalty through education and company referrals. Key Responsibilities:Excellent time management and communication skills are needed.Responsible for scheduling client visits in a timely manner.Complete work orders in an efficient travel plan.Demonstrated ability in accurate reporting of services provided and timely processing of all paperwork.Provide field support through installation, major maintenance, and preventative maintenance.Average 16 work orders per month for your region.Maintain cost efficiencies within Company Travel policy.Drive company program referrals.Previous experience performing IQ/OQ certifications is preferred.Enhance post-sales support by identifying additional accessories/consumables and instrument opportunities, building strong customer relationships, developing references/user profiles.Maintain client loyalty.Develop strong engineering knowledge for all products spanning both Analytical and Terpene Processing Divisions.Ability to act as subject matter expert on various sample preparation devices with knowledge and understanding of all service processes and systems. Job Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Electromechanical Engineering or Science preferred areas or related work experience.4+ years of successful field service experience in laboratory equipment or supplies, capital equipment sales, or related field work.Ability to travel extensively overnight (up to 4 clients per week).Possess a strong mechanical/electrical aptitude.Present technical and competitive information in a clear, concise manner.Technical expertise or aptitude for inorganic and organic chemistry applications.Experience with sample preparation or metals analysis.Possess strong awareness of market conditions regarding products, product updates, service offerings and new technologies through available resources.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Computer skills: Microsoft Office proficiency, experience with Salesforce a plus. We are presently on the lookout for a dynamic professional as Quality Supervisor in Orange, CT.Position Summary and Key Responsibilities:As a Quality Supervisor you will be responsible for directing and supervising the quality control team’s daily activities and supporting all site activities related to inspection. Working in conjunction with manufacturing and planning functions, coordinating the flow of material and parts through all steps in the inspection process. Key Responsibilities:Supervise the day-to-day activities in the inspection department.  Working with manufacturing and planning to assure the timely inspection of material and parts to meet department and site goals.  Review and prepare Quality Documentation for shipments to include Qualifications, PPAP’s, FAI’s and COC’s and other documentation as needed or required.  Support Quality Assurance in Customer and Supplier corrective actions activities as needed.  Responsible for Scrap reporting process. Support the preparation for and execution of quality audits, perform internal process and product audits as needed.  Utilize various department equipment in assessing quality level of products and processes.  Clean and maintain work areas, gauges, equipment, and instrumentation as scheduled or required.  Exhibit and reinforce safety awareness and safe work practices.  Participate in self-development and training of others.  Direct, monitor, and evaluate activities of supervised Quality Technician(s) / Inspector(s). Perform other related duties as required or as directed by the Manager.Hands on inspection experience with Micro-Vu and Vision Systems ( Starrett).Job Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 5+ years of experience in a Quality function OR 10+ years’ experience in a Quality function in lieu of a formal degree is required.  Statistical Process Control - ability to interpret data and train/coach others in use. Experience in developing and compiling PPAP/FAI submission information. Computer (PC), data collection, and analysis skills necessary to fulfill job responsibilities. IATF, ISO-9001/AS-9100, QMS knowledge and experience is preferred.  Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.  ASQ-CQE and/or CQA are preferred. 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role.  Experience in automotive and/or aerospace related manufacturing environment is preferred. As a (an) Inspector day-to-day duties will consist of and may not be limited to: Perform routine checks, tests, gauging and instrument inspections of materials, parts in process and finished parts. Performs routine tests on materials, goods in process or finished goods where results are compared with company quality standards. Performs visual inspection for obvious defects. Record results on inspection forms or charts and reports number of defects found.Some lifting of items of various weights, both assisted and unassisted. Ability to understand blueprints, operation sheets, and procedures. Use of standard measuring equipment including micrometers and indicators; Calipers, height gage. QUALIFICATIONS: 1-2 years of experience as an inspector and/or NDT technician. Able to communicate verbally and/or in writing with other workers, members, or supervision, and others as necessary.
