Summer Adventures @ HWIS

We offer a fun, immersive environment integrating language, science, math and art– all while developing students’ listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in Mandarin or Spanish! Themes include: “Birds, Planes, UFOs”, “Our Warming Planet”, "Cooking Around the World" and “Olympics - The Science of Sports”.
Our unique summer camp offers:
– 100% Mandarin or Spanish immersion
– Small class sizes and low student to teacher ratio
– Classes are grouped by age and language level for optimal language acquisition
– Sports instruction delivered daily by a PE coach

International Sleepaway Camp 2024
June 30-July 13 | Ages 9-13
We welcome students ages 8-13 to experience a unique week-long immersion sleep-away camp on a 220-acre camp in Northern NJ. Organized and staffed with HudsonWay and Camp Linwood McDonald’s dedicated staff, this camp provides a program focused on appreciation of the great outdoors, personal growth, community building and understanding of other cultures. Students will break into groups based on their interest in the immersive language – English, Mandarin, or Spanish.
