🎉 We are thrilled to announce that ILF has promoted Rebecca Thacher to Family Law Division Lead as of October 2023! 🎉 Rebecca has been a pillar of strength in family law, focusing on divorce, custody, and child support. Her dedication and expertise have shone brightly in Circuit, Juvenile, and Domestic Relations Courts across Northern Virginia. In 2023, Rebecca was honoured with the 2022 Circuit Court Trial Attorney of the Year Award from the Prince William County Circuit Court, a testament to her exceptional courtroom advocacy skills. Rebecca, an alumnus of George Mason School of Law, graduated in 2009. She served as the President of the Trial Advocacy Association. She also received the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association Student Advocacy Award that year. Rebecca's career began as an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney in Prince William County, where she prosecuted criminal matters focusing on narcotics and violent crimes. Her stellar trial work earned her the 2014 General District Court Trial Attorney of the Year Award. After over a decade of service, Rebecca brought her extensive experience to ILF, excelling in family law with her trial and negotiation skills. Rebecca also volunteers as the Entertainment Committee Chair for the Prince William County Bar Association. She enjoys travelling and hiking with her family. Congratulations, Rebecca!
